Ragno o insetto ?

Domandone. L'altra sera un piccolo ospite passeggiava per la mia camera da letto.
Come sempre in presenza di inrusi del genere ci armiamo per prima cosa di lente d'ingrandimento e di macchina fotografica ed osserviamo.
Questa volta però ci siamo trovati in difficoltà. Il giovanotto ( o forse era una signorina ? ) aveva 6 zampe come un insetto, ma il corpo diviso in due parti come un ragno ... inoltre anche il colorito era molto particolare. A Leonardo ha ricordato a ragione i ragni delle grotte di Frasassi, che crescendono al buio rimangono bianchi.
C'è qualcuno là fuori che riconosce l'individuo in questione e può dissipare i nostri dubbi ?

Le due piccole appendici frontali non sembravano zampe e non venivano usate per camminare. Strano eh ?



E visto che molti non aprezzano immagini così ravvicinate di certe creature ecco un video molto bello che ho visto ieri sul magnifico blog A Holy Experience ( fonte di grandissima ispirazione per me )

Piccole donne crescono

Non posso che essere orgogliosa delle mie piccole donne. Anche dei miei piccoli uomini, ma ultimamente le ragazze hanno dimostrato di essere cresciute molto e di aver sviluppato una capacità ed un amore per la vita di famiglia non indifferente e che mi riempie di gioia.
Per il ritorno di PapaF Gaia e Milla hanno preparato tutto il pranzo. Gaia ha pensato al menu, fatto la lista della spesa, e diretto Milla che la voleva aiutare nella preparazione di tutto. Io mi sono limitata a supervisionare e scattare orgogliosa e commossa.

Non credo ci sia bisogno di commentare le foto.

Brave vero ?

Regali per PapaF. La moneta l'ho trovata alla fiera, si divide a metà e ognuno ne tiene una. Solo insieme possiamo crearne una intera :)

Il pomeriggio abbiamo portato PapaF a vedere le bancarelle, le caldarroste, i giochi e l'allegria che si respirava per il paese. Ed abbiamo deciso di prendere delle monete per i bambini. Quella da quattro era finita, così ne abbiamo prese due da due, ma dopo averla spezzata le abbiamo mischiate. Nessuno sa chi ha l'altra metà, dunque devono essere insieme tutti e quattro per essere certi di ricostruirle tutte :)

Che altro ... ah ! Al ritorno a casa ci aspettava anche un ospite inatteso ...

Non proprio il mio tipo, ma almeno ci ha offerto un bello spunto di studio.

Sapevate che gli scorpioni sono aracnidi ? Eh si, hanno otto zampe.

Ed infine PapaF cercando testardamente su internet è riuscito a scovare un vecchissimo annuncio della casa con altre foto ( soprattutto con foto ancora online ! ) purtroppo sono piccole piccole, ma giusto per avere un'idea ...

Non avevo capito che il granaio fosse così grande ! Una vera propria casa !

Dai resti di neve dovrebbe essere l'inizio della primavera

L'albero ora non c'è più. Come si vede la casa ha due entrate. Adoro l'ingressoo con le scalette e le panchine. Già mi immagino a sferruzzare seduta lì quando la stagione lo permette.

Una delle molte stufe della casa. L'unico tipo di riscaldamente presente.

Final harvest and much more

Today, as every saturday, it has been our cleaning day. We clean both inside the house and outside in the garden. And today we took off the summer kitchen garden. Before that we harvested the last goodies

Here what i harvested today before taking off all the plants to get the soil ready for winter vegetables.

And here a pic of all the canned goods from the summer. We've been really blessed. I still can't believe all this came from a little seed and love. It's incredible.

And these pictures were taken before processing today's harvest. If my memory serves me right at the moment we have something like 8 kilos and half of tomatoe sauce and i think 4 or 5 kilos of eggplants canned in different ways, and then fruit, jams, greenbeans, pesto sauce, and then dryed herbs and frozen herbs and vegetables.

Then while i was mowning the lawn Fabio called for me in the turtles fence to show me something :

an  Argiope Bruennichi

We immediately called for the kids and we all got very excited as we always are when we find new and interesting  insects . We wanted to try to capture it alive, but then we had to poison the little thing ( we couldn't risk to let our new friend to deliver her up to 1200 kids at home, i'm sorry ). Anyways we'll keep it for a while in a glass jar to study it a little more.

Then in the evening we headed to Ostia and while we were driving to the play park we saw all these Carabinieri Horse Trucks, so we parked the car and went closer. We found out at 7:00 there would have been a parade to the main church, so we stayed there watching the horses and talking and learning until they left, at the sound of the beating drums. We were all delighted. After that we went to the playpark and then to Burger King ( a super special treat ) and while we were eating ( we were just behind the main church ) the firework started ! So we went out in the sidewalk and enjoyed the show. It has been a wonderful evening. I wish i had the camera with me, but maybe not having it let me enjoy everything even more.

We really needed a good day :)
