Bye bye Italy

So it has arrived. And quite fast. This is most probably my last post before moving. Before leaving Italy. Many reasons to do all this. And i hardly ever change my mind about this. But still it is scaring. I try, oh so hard, to put all my trust and faith in God. I know, I really know that He is in charge. I've been shown so many times that everything happens for a purpose, at least in the long run. Even if I can't understand it right away. So I want to keep my heart open to this new adventure, to this new season, but of course the shadow of fear, of doubt is there ... the dark corner of my soul where the hurted me, the lonely me, the neglected me is hidden. A new season. A new call. A new life and a new way. Let's go on. :)

Here some pics from the latest days. As you see i haven't taken any 'move' picture. I did it the other times and those pics haunted me in hard moments. I don't want to take goodbye pics. Just our everyday life that is changing, flowing, running ahead. There's no breaking, it's just our journey going on and on and on. Does this make any sense ?

Snow ! Leo put some snow in the freezer, but we had to take it out before giving the fridge away, but he wanted a pic of it :))

Seba watching a movie with Tappo. Yep, sofa went already away ...

The apricot is growing, but i'm afraid it won't be ripe by monday :(

The apple tree is in blossom again, and it smells heavenly

Leo and Milla playing outside

Me and Gaia. I usually don't take pics of myself. But we took this one by ourselves, and then one more, and one more and i found out is fun :)

And this is the little church where we usually go on sunday. We don't belong to the congragation but still we love to go there by ourselves, lit some candles and pray Jesus. Actually many prayers have been heard in that little church.

A statue of Saint Leonard. Our Leo loves it.

This is the entrance of the church

The little church is in this tiny medieval village. Two lazy cats were enjoying the sun.

Just beautiful. Anybody knows the english name for this flower ?

Another sight of the village.

So I will be probably be off-line from monday, for the next 3-4 weeks. Hopefully less, maybe more.
Think of us, lift us in your prayers.

LoveYouAll

Randomly yours

Life's more hectic then ever these days. I make boxes all day long and Fabio run endless errands around town and nearby. I look forward the three months in the rental furnished apartment to unwind and finally catch up with some more formal schooling ( reading and math and english ) just to have some daily quiet time with the kids, around a table or curled on a sofa. But right now what is needed is action ! And a lot of it :)
I'm incredibly behind in my pics, so some random shots from the last 10 days ...

Gaia's new camera

Celebrating with grandma

The cake ( can you tell she loves Hello Kitty )

Dinner with Uncle Massimo ( on the right ) and Aunt Morena and our dear friends Valerio and Francesca

Creepy ! Any idea what can cause this ? In our garden we have plenty of this 'mutant daisies', each one is formed of 2,3,4 ... up to 7 !! flowers 'melted' together

Easter bunny ( I sewed them last year )

Easter basket (I sewed bunnies, and little table cloth and made the patchworked bells )

The table set for Easter breakfast

Bowling !! For the first time in my life I visited a bowling. Gaia since we're moving away wanted to have a little birthday party with her friends and she chose the local bowling place.

I hope you're all enjoying life, such an amazing and interesting journey.
In 8 days we'll be leaving this place for good.
We'll be leaving Italy.
We'll be leaving a 4 years season of our life back, for good.
It could be scaring.
It is sometime.
It's exciting when i remember in which strong and loving arms I am held.
I know He is in charge.

be happy

Happy Easter

Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

(Luke 24)

May this Easter bring you all peace and joy and faith

Happy birthday Gaia !!!!!!!! Ten

Today Gaia turns ten. Ten ! Can you believe it's already ten years.
I was only 24, and quite scared of all was happening. At this time i was already in hospital ( I was admitted early in the morning ) but Gaia only arrived at 7:30 pm. Labour lasted 14 hours. When she was put on my chest i couldn't believe this pretty new human being came from me. I asked permission to touch her ! She seemed so precious and fragile I was almost afraid. My wonderful Ob Giorgio had a good laugh and told me 'Of course you can touch her, she is YOUR DOUGHTER'
My doughter.
A child was born.
A mother was born.
We share the very same birthday.
As i share a birthday with each one of my children
Happy birthday my beloved child.

Gaia's 'breakfast presents'
First one is Sandro's present .
The two of them will meet in around three weeks for the first time.

Thank you Sandro !

Sando's present, our little parcel, Seba's stuffed Hello Kitty.
Milla and Leo were still sleeping.

Finally everybody was up and Gaia could open all her siblings' presents

Here the four of them in a sleepy close up, don't you love how kids look when they're just up from bed ?
